Except as otherwise permitted or required by law, we will not collect, use, or disclose personal information without the user’s consent.
If a user refuses to consent, or later withdraws consent to the collection, use, and/or disclosure of the personal information that is necessary to fulfilling the user’s request, or if the user chooses not to provide the required personal information, we may not be able to offer or provide certain goods, services, or benefits.
If a user has submitted personal information and later wishes to withdraw his/her consent to its retention, use or disclosure, the user can contact us using the methods described in Contact Us. Legal or contractual restrictions, or our record retention policy, may require that the implementation be delayed. For example, airline regulations require that personal information and billing information be kept for a certain time after the trip has been completed.
Minors -- Minors (as defined under the laws of their jurisdiction or residence) are not eligible to make purchases through the site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any minor, and will not use or disclose this information if we discover that it has been provided by a minor, unless we are required by law to do so.
Other travelers or contacts: If a user purchases products or services for other travelers, or provides a third party’s contact information, the user must make sure that he/she has the right to do so. By providing the personal information of another person, the user represents that he/she has all necessary authority and/or has obtained all necessary consents from such person to enable us to collect, use and disclose that other person’s personal information as set forth in this Policy.
3. What personal information we collect
Just a visitor – Users can visit the site without revealing their identity. We may place cookies on the user’s computer, or use pixel tags. The information that we collect through this technology is not readily associated with an identifiable individual.
Upon purchase of products or services -- If a user makes purchases through the site, we collect personal information to make the reservation, as required by the travel service provider(s). This includes, for example, name, email address, contact information, billing address, age of children (if any are traveling), age of driver (if a car is rented), or passport number (if the reservation includes foreign travel).
Purchases made for a third party -- If a user purchases products or services for a third party, we will collect that third party's information required by the travel service provider(s), so that we can complete the booking.
When we advertise on third party sites -- We advertise or have marketing agreements with other companies. By clicking on a banner, ad, icon, or other display that we have placed on a third party site, a user will be redirected to our Site. We may place cookies on the user’s computer, or use pixel tags, to identify that the user’s visit originated from that other site. The information that we collect through this technology is not readily associated with an identifiable individual.
Customer service -- When a user makes an inquiry with our Customer Service group, we collect contact information (name, phone number, mailing address or e-mail address) and information about the relevant purchase as necessary to assist the user. If the user requests a change, cancellation, or purchase, we ask for credit card number (and only in case of a purchase, for the credit card security code).
What we do NOT do -- We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to us. Safeguarding information to help protect your from identity theft is our priority. 4. How we use personal information
We use personal information in order to provide and enhance the services we provide, and the products or services offered on the site:
Reservations and bookings -- We use personal information to design and complete travel packages and provide customer assistance. When a user makes a purchase through the site, the collected personal information is used to make the reservations or acquire travel insurance on the user’s behalf, to communicate with the user about the travel plans, to issue invoices, administer accounts, verify credit card information, collect and process payments.
The user’s personal information is sent to the hotel, airline, car rental, where the reservation is also recorded. It is also sent to our data warehouse, and used for processing the reservation or other requests, issue invoices, administer accounts, collect and process payments.
Personal information is also used to administer, manage and audit our business (for example, maintaining transactional records and auditing fees and remuneration between us and our contractors), and administer loyalty programs.
Information about the purchase will only be shared on an 'as needed' basis. For example, an airline will be sent your name, address, telephone number, and seat preferences, only when you have purchased a seat with that particular airline.
To improve our services -- We use personal information to manage the site, diagnose technical problems, improve content, and allocate the resources of our systems so that user’s experience with the site is as efficient as possible. We also use personal information for research, marketing, advertising, or to measure the use of our Site.
Aggregated information -- Aggregated information is information about more than one individual, where the identity of the individual is not known, and cannot be inferred from the information. We may use aggregated information to better understand how users use the site, and improve the site; to describe our user base to current or potential partners investors and advertisers; after a survey, to understand and respond to market needs and preferences; or to make recommendations to other users. For example, if users told us that they had positive experiences at a hotel, we might recommend that hotel.
5. Cookies and Pixel Tags
Cookies and pixel tags -- A cookie is a small text file that our computer sends to a user’s computer, and that the user’s computer sends back to us each time the user makes a request from the site. A pixel tag (sometimes called web beacon) is a small graphic image similar to a cookie. Cookies and pixel tags contain a unique identification number that identifies the user’s browser, but not the actual individual. Unless a visitor specifically informs us of his/her identity (e.g. by registering with us), we will not know who the individual visitor is.
We use pixel tags to monitor the open rate of our emails and other communications. The information is used and reported in the aggregate without a user's personal information. This helps us understand the effectiveness of communications sent to the users.
Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. By editing a browser’s options, a user may instruct the computer to stop accepting cookies or prompt the user before accepting a cookie from the sites the user visits. Some functions of the site, such as online hotel reservations, may not work or may work slowly if a cookie is refused or deleted.
Session data -- We collect session data through cookies and pixel tags, including what searches are conducted, software client information (for example, IP addresses to the extent not identified with an individual, browser versions and operating systems) and aggregate information (for example, number of pages accessed). Session data do not include any personal information about the user. This information may be used to statistically analyze site traffic and usage; to understand what users are doing on the site, so that we may plan and re-design the site accordingly; to improve our content and product /services offerings; to enable us to tailor content and services to provide a better fit to users' needs.
Advertisements on the Site -- The site may be used to serve and host advertisements. We may place cookies on a user’s computer if the user clicks on the advertisement.
6. Where we keep personal information
Reservation Information -- We combine a user’s personal information in the user’s transaction record. The file will contain all information collected from the user about the user and other travelers for whom the user made reservations (if applicable).
Storage -- Personal information is stored in secured locations and on servers controlled by us, located either at our premises, or at the premises of our service providers, using the security measures described below.
Retention -- We retain all personal information in accordance with our document management, retention and destruction policy, and applicable laws. This period may extend beyond the end of a user’s relationship with us, but it will be only as long as it is necessary for us to have sufficient information to respond to any issues that may arise later. For example, we may need or be required to retain information to prevent fraudulent activity; or to protect ourselves against liability, permit us to pursue available remedies or limit any damages that we may sustain.
7. To whom we disclose personal information
In connection with reservations and bookings -- We provide user personal information to those travel service providers with which the user is making arrangements, for example, airlines, car rental, hotel, ground transportation, travel insurance and any other supplier of the product or services purchased by the user. We provide the personal information needed to make and complete the purchase, booking, or reservation, for example to provide customer service, deliver tickets, ship items, process credit cards or other data processing.
Service Providers -- We provide user personal information to third party service providers that perform services for us or on our behalf. We share with these companies only that personal information which they need to work on our behalf. Some of these service providers may be located in other countries. Personal information is provided to these service providers only if they agree to use such information solely for the purpose of providing services to us, and under our instructions, and with respect to that information, to act in a manner consistent with the relevant principles articulated in this Policy. The information is protected by a data transfer agreement and is to be used solely in connection with the specific project.
Third Parties -- We reserve the right to transfer our data warehouse (or part of it) to a third party in contemplation of, or to effect a corporate transaction, in connection with the sale, merger, spin-off, or other corporate reorganization of our corporation, where the information is provided to the new controlling entity, or prospect, in regular course of business.
Protection and crime prevention -- We may need to use and/or disclose personal information to third parties in order to protect our rights under our Terms and Conditions; to protect our assets and those of our business affiliates, users, employees or others; to collect amounts due for products or services; to protect against liability; to pursue available remedies or limit any damages that we may sustain; when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify someone who may be causing (or about to cause) damage to our assets, or who may be interfering or infringing (or about to interfere or infringe) upon our rights; to investigate a crime or fraud that has been, is being, or is about to be committed; if we have reasonable grounds to believe the information could be useful in the investigation of such crime or fraud; or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable to prevent fraudulent or illegal activities.
Disclosure without consent -- We may be permitted or required by law to collect, use or disclose a user’s personal information without the user’s consent. Such situations may include, for example:
- To collect a debt that a user owes us;
- To comply with a subpoena or warrant issued, or an order made, by a court, person or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of information, or to comply with rules of court relating to the production of records;
- If we have reasonable grounds to believe that the information relates to a breach of an agreement or the violation of a law that has been, is being, or is about to be committed; or
- To a person who needs the information because of an emergency that threatens the life, health, or security of an identifiable person or group.
If we receive a subpoena, warrant or order from a court, person or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of information in connection with a legal action, we will attempt to contact the user about it, if permitted by law, via the e-mail address the user provided, before we respond to that request.
National Security -- A country government may request access to passenger name records (“PNR”) of individuals who travel to or from that country, in order to protect national security and ensure travel security. Typically, a PNR includes name, flight origin, flight destination, flight time, duration of flight, seat location, travel agent, form of payment, credit card numbers, travel itinerary, address, telephone number and meal requests. We will give access to all the information the user provides when making the reservation in response to a request from the appropriate government agencies of the countries to or from which an individual is traveling.
Confirmation E-mail -- Users who purchase products or services from the site are sent an e-mail confirmation of the reservation. The e-mail contains a copy of the user’s itinerary and other components of the travel reservation. We accept no liability for undelivered e-mails due toe-mail blockers or other programs that filter electronic communications.
Communications -- In communicating with users, we may send e-mail as unencrypted plain text because we are aware that most users cannot readily process encrypted e-mail. This is done for the user’s convenience, but with the security concern that, if misrouted or intercepted, it could be read more easily than encrypted e-mail.
Although we use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain data security when data is transmitted through third party communication service providers, we do not warrant the security of data during such transmission. Information transmitted electronically via the World Wide Web might not be secure. Since we do not control transmissions over the Internet, via commercial Internet service providers, and/or the security of users’ personal computer, we cannot guarantee secure transmission via the Internet.
As a result, purchase confirmations, which are sent via email and contain billing information contain only truncated credit card numbers, which mask most digits of a credit card number. We assume no liability for the loss of any information that a user transmits to us.
Bookings and purchases -- When paying by credit card to make a booking, reservation, or purchase on the site, the card details are encrypted for the transaction. All information provided to us will be transmitted using encryption. All information collected is encrypted and stored in a separate, secure database protected by firewalls and access control lists. Our security certificate has been issued by VeriSign.
Monitoring -- We may, from time to time, monitor and review any information transmitted or received through the Site, or through telephone or email communications, for quality assurance. During monitoring, personal information may be examined, recorded, or copied. Such personal information will not be used other than in a manner consistent with this Policy.
9. Access, corrections, inquiries, and complaints
Access -- Users may request access to their personal information in our possession by contacting us, as indicated in Contact Us. In some limited circumstances, we may not be able to grant access to a user’s personal information, for example for security reason, of if doing so would threaten the safety of another individual, or as permitted by law.
Corrections -- We endeavor to ensure that personal information is as accurate, complete, and current as necessary to fulfill user requests and other purposes for which the user has consented. We also endeavor to correct and update personal information collected from users. To modify or correct personal information, users should contact our customer service as indicated in Contact Us .
If a user notifies us that personal information we hold is inaccurate, where appropriate and upon notification and sufficient time for verification, we will take all reasonable steps to correct any inaccuracy of which we are made aware.
Deletions -- If a user requests that we remove all personal information or travel records, we will promptly do so, to the extent possible. To have personal information deleted from our records, users should contact us as indicated in Contact Us. We may not be able to honor a request if we are legally obligated to retain that information.

Copies of this Policy -- Please feel free to download or make a copy of this Policy.
Individuals who do not have online access, and purchase travel product or services through our telephone lines may obtain a copy of this policy, free of charge, by requesting such copy from the individual who handles their telephone purchase.
Changes -- This Policy may change at any time without prior notice. We will post any Policy changes to our websites to notify users of these changes and provide users with the ability to agree or not to any new uses of personal information not previously disclosed in the Policy.
